This week the Governor is preparing to release his May revisions to the 2010-11 budget. And it is likely to be ugly. For years, the California Legislature and the Governor have put off making tough choices when it comes to balancing the state budget. Utilizing a combination of debt and accounting gimmicks they managed to dig the state into a budget hole that seems impossible to overcome.

Week 1- Let’s Talk Immigration

Ever since the Arizona passed legislation empowering law enforcement officers to actually enforce immigration law in their state, the entire nation seems to be split on the issue.

Since the 2006 death of their daughter, the Juceams have been on a crusade to raise awareness about how easy it is for children to be harmed by a frustrated parent or caretaker. Named after their 15 month old child who died after being shaken by her nanny, The Hannah Rose Foundation was founded to educate people on the dangers of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS).
